The leisure and sport facilities at the University of Glamorgan are first class and have an excellent reputation.
Our facilities are regularly used by professional teams, including the Wales National football squad, Cardiff City FC, Cardiff Blues Rugby Academy and touring rugby sides from South Africa and New Zealand.
Our Sports Centre is located on the main university campus, offering some of the finest facilities including:

- six badminton courts
- aerobic studio for classes

- martial arts and fencing
- four squash courts

The outdoor facilities are located at the nearby Tyn y Wern Playing Fields covering over 30 acres and offering premium facilities including:
- 7 football pitches (2 floodlit)
- 2 rugby pitches (1 floodlit)
- changing rooms
- a full size floodlit all-weather surface
- self contained sports pavilion
- cricket pitch
- seminar room ideal for team meetings
The sports centre offers a fully equipped conditioning and weights room which is complimentary to all our residential conference delegates who are staying with us on a residential package.
